Father narrates Amazing story of how his premature child drew him closer to God

Father narrates Amazing story of how his premature child drew him closer to God

Facebook user, David Osaghae, shared the amazing testimony of how his premature daughter drew him closer to God. He wrote;
This was the beginning of a new me, the process of change, redemption ,salvation or simply put , Getting closer to God. My daughter was born on the 3rd of March 2002 . 5 months and 2 weeks of pregnancy. She was premature. I had just finished my overnight or 2nd job as a bouncer in a club in Germany. She weighed 790grams, not even 1kg.

On seeing her tiny structure inside the incubator , I cried like I never cried before. I asked God , why , why me ? After crying out my heart , I realized only a miracle could save her . She is the reason till today , why my faith in God is so strong . I laid my hands over her and prayed. I did not know what to pray about , but I prayed my pains onto God and begged God not to allow my sins / punishment for my numerous transgressions be passed unto my little girl. I made a vow to God . 3 days later I went and paid the vow to my Church to be passed unto the poor and needy . My Pastor prayed with me. I prayed that my daughter would leave that Hospital without complications hence the vow/ deal with God . My daughter is 14+ years old now , straight A student , speaks 3 international languages already , and she left that Hospital without complications what else can I say . My pain as I saw it then was actually God's way of drawing me closer to come to know him and have faith in him to prepare me for the movement that was to come . This was the day that the destiny of Judo Movement was redirected from waywardness back to the narrow path of Christ #tbt #Godisgood #judomovement

Manchester City draws first blood from Manchester United in Old Trafford thriller

With much sadness in my face i announce to you that Manchester City have defeated rivals Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford in a thrilling match to maintain their winning start to life under new team manager Pep Guardiola.

The Citizens, without a win in their past three meetings with United prior to today, dominated the first half but were pegged back following a howler from debutant Claudio Bravo in goal.Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho's opening goals proved to be enough for City to hold out for the three points, though, meaning a first defeat in charge of the Red Devils for Jose Mourinho.

With so many underlying storylines in the build-up to the match, the derby clash managed to meet expectations as a high-tempo opening 45 minutes had a reported one billion viewers glued to their TV screens.

For many of the 77,000 spectators inside the Theatre of Dreams, it was very much a first half to forget for large parts as the visitors took complete control of the contest from the off through their high pressing and fluid attacking movement.

Chances would prove to be few and far between for the Citizens, with their only two opportunities resulting in goals, but Guardiola was the happier of the two managers even before De Bruyne's eventual breakthrough goal 15 minutes into the match.

It was not a trademark Guardiola goal, as a simple punt up the field was flicked on by Iheanacho for De Bruyne to simply knock the ball past an embarassed Daley Blind, with the Belgian superbly tucking the ball past David de Gea when clean through.

United, forced to feed off scraps and the occasional counter-attacking move, saw things get worse before they got better as the Citizens bagged a deserved second through Iheanacho's tap-in from six yards out.

De Bruyne was again involved, doing his best to gain revenge on former boss Mourinho by cutting inside and curling a shot back off the post for his teammate to fire into the back of the net, making it 31 goals in the last eight derby clashes here.

It was a performance that had all the hallmarks of the Citizens' 6-1 win in this fixture in 2011, yet the game changed on an error from Bravo, who flapped at a simple cross to gift Zlatan Ibrahimovic of all people the chance to drill the ball home inside the box - the third player to score four goals in his first four league games for the club.

From being desperate to hear the half-time whistle to being on top, it was United who were the superior side from that point on as Ibrahimovic saw a back-post header kept out by Bravo, before the ex-Barcelona stopper fluffed his lines yet again on the brink of the interval.

Bravo failed to collect the ball and allowed Jesse Lingard - back in the starting lineup alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan to provide some pace in attack - the chance to turn and shoot, but the returning midfielder failed to pick his spot under pressure.

Mourinho was clearly still unhappy with what he had seen, however, and opted to bring on man of the moment Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera at the midway point, as an end-to-end battle ensued in a hugely entertaining 172nd Manchester derby.

United tails were up as they saw a couple of penalty appeals turned down, one of which involved Bravo again as he lunged in on Rooney studs first after losing possession with his feet.

Home supporters were celebrating wildly 20 minutes from time when Rashford, making the most of some hesitancy between John Stones and Bacary Sagna, raced in on goal and sent a shot into the back of the net.

Ibrahimovic got a telling touch from his offside position to help the ball past Bravo, however, meaning City still had a one-goal lead heading into a frenetic closing quarter.

De Gea first kept out two Fernandinho efforts and a Nolito shot from close range, the latter a fine stop at his near post, before David Silva slipped in De Bruyne to hit the post.

The Citizens were creating chances galore on the counter as United pushed bodies forward in search of a leveller, but Mourinho's men themselves were getting crosses into the box which ultimately came to nothing to spark scenes of joy in the away end at Old Trafford.

Well its not the End of the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still love My Team Manchester United!

Facebook Co-founder gives $20 million to Democrats to beat Donald Trump

Facebook Co-founder gives $20 million to Democrats to beat Donald Trump

One of the co-founders of Facebook, Dustin Moskovitz, is going all in on the 2016 election with a humongous $20 million donation to a handful of Democrat groups, including some directly backing Hillary Clinton, in an effort to fend off GOP candidate Donald Trump.

Moskovitz and his wife, Cari Tuna, posted an explanation for their donations in a post on Medium, saying this is the first time they have either endorsed a presidential candidate or donated to a presidential campaign.

The post alluded to the "two visions for society" offered by the 2016 candidates and what led them to publicly support Clinton over Trump.

The Republican Party, and Donald Trump in particular, is running on a zero-sum vision, stressing a false contest between their constituency and the rest of the world. We believe their positions, especially on immigration, which purport to improve the lives of Americans, would in practice hurt citizens and noncitizens alike. In contrast, the Democratic Party, and Hillary Clinton in particular, is running on a vision of optimism, pragmatism, inclusiveness and mutual benefit.

The largest donations from the couple will go to the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Victory Fund and For Our Future PAC, both of which will receive $5 million.

In a tweet, Moskovitz said he had not yet met with Hillary Clinton and insisted that despite skepticism to the contrary he's made no deals in exchange for the donations.

@hobbitj @teddyschleifer I have not yet met them, but hope to soon. We asked for nothing, but I accept that many won't believe it.
— Dustin Moskovitz (@moskov) September 9, 2016

Other groups that received money are: the Hillary Victory Fund, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Color of Change PAC, For Our Future PAC, and MoveOn.org Political Action.

Silicon Valley has played a more prominent role in the 2016 campaign than in previous elections. A group of prominent tech executives from companies like Apple, Google, and Tesla — usually a group reticent to openly discuss political issues — joined the anti-Trump movement earlier this year.

Finally trashed by @realDonaldTrump. Will still reserve him a seat on the Blue Origin rocket. #sendDonaldtospace https://t.co/9OypFoxZk3 — Jeff Bezos (@JeffBezos) December 7, 2015

In August, Meg Whitman, the current CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Chairwoman of Hewlett Packard and former CEO of eBay, announced her support for Hillary Clinton despite her being a prominent Republican.

And, of course, billionaire tech venture capitalist Peter Thiel has been a vocal Trump supporter, even speaking at the Republican National Convention.

CNN notes that the size of the donation will make the couple the third biggest donors of the 2016 campaign thus far.

The biggest donor has been hedge fund investor-turned-climate activist Tom Steyer, who has given over $30 million to various Democratic organizations. The second largest set of donations — just a little over $20 million — was made by Robert Mercer, who originally backed Ted Cruz in the GOP race but is now supporting Trump.

Apple just got rid of the worst thing about the iPhone #AppleEvent

Apple just got rid of the worst thing about the iPhone #AppleEvent

At its September iPhone event, Apple announced the base model iPhone will no longer start at 16 gigabytes — something users have been wanting for years.

The Apple Senior Vice president said that the iPhone 7 will come in Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Black and Jet Black.

He went further to talk about the storage size of the iPhone 7, it will no longer be 16GB, 64GB and 128GB but now 32GB, 128GB and 256GB as shown Below!

The iPhone 7 - Everything You Need to Know

The iPhone 7 - Everything You Need to Know

Finally After more than a year of speculation , Apple’s new iPhones are finally here. Predictably named the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Apple’s twin gadgets are glass-and-aluminum reflections of what’s come before. But in the few places where Apple does makes some changes, it makes some big ones.

For the first time ever, the new iPhone sticks with a mostly familiar design for three years running. But despite that exterior sameness, Apple does makes a gutsy gamble on improving, and completely removing, core features that have been part of the iPhone for nearly a decade. And yeah, it also comes in glossy black.

For better or worse, this is the 2016 iPhone.

Design

As is tradition, Jony Ive delivered a wonderfully psychotic video to introduce the new iPhone, focusing on the new gloss finish and the redesigned camera housing. Apple’s Phil Schiller then ran down all the changes live on stage.

First up was design, Schiller confirmed what we already knew. Space Grey is out and Black is in. Apple also completely redesigned the home button, which has been the sole to navigational button on the iPhone since 2007. Schiller says the new button is more reliable and customizable. With a new generation taptic engine, the button is now Force Touch sensitive. There are unique feedback for messages, notifications, and ringtones. It’s a little vague exactly how this all works, but we’ll know more soon.

And a much needed feature is also here—the iPhone is now toilet proof. Apple says its re-engineered the casing so that the phone can survive much H20 plunges. Many accident-prone people rejoiced.

Camera

Apple focused heavily on making the two camera systems in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Each phone now comes with optical image stabilization and f/1.8 aperture lens for muuuuch better low-light photography (hopefully). Apple also reworked the flash to make it brighter and able to capture true tones and its image processor for better editing. It can perform 100 billion operations in just 25 milliseconds.

With iOS 10, you can finally capture RAW photos and the front-facing camera comes with a 7-megapixel sensor, an upgrade from 5 megapixels on the iPhone 6s.

Finally, Schiller gets to the two megapixel cameras on the iPhone 7 Plus. One is a normal lens and the other is a telephoto lens. Schiller explains that this new camera system can build a zoom feature into the iPhone. When in the camera app, a new button can zoom 2x instantly with just a tap. After 2x, however, further zoom relies on software. But because of the added telephoto lens, the images are much clearer than before.

The dual camera can also create an almost machine learning to create a depth map. After selecting the camera app’s new “portrait” mode, you’ll immediately see the depth effect in real time. Of course, we haven’t really get to see the effect in real time on stage yet, but the photographic results Schiller did show looked damn good.

This feature will come as a software update to all iPhone 7 Plus users.

Specs

As you’ve likely guessed, Apple is sticking with an LCD Retina display, though much like the Apple Watch Series 2, it’s brighter than the screen on the the iPhone 6s.

Then finally, Schiller got to the giant elephant in the room—audio. Apple couched the impending bad news by first talking about improved stereo speakers. Then came the Lightning-only earpods. Goodbye, headphone jacks.

Schiller made certain we knew that there were over 900 million Lightning-connected devices from companies like JBL. But what if I wanted to use my headphones on not an iPhone, like a Mac for instance. Luckily, Apple will be including an audio jack adaptor in every box for the iPhone 7. Get prepared to lose it!

Schiller quickly began to explain the madness:

“The reason to move on comes down to one word—courage,” Schiller explained. “This is really important, our smartphones are packed with technologies...it’s all fighting for space. Maintaining an ancient analog connector doesn’t make sense.”

Apple says its vision for audio will be wireless. Hence, Apple AirPods. Apple’s new ear gear will work for up to 5 hours on a single charge and it’s included case will brings that number up to a full day. When you open the case, the iPhone immediately recognizes the AirPods. All you have to do is press “connect.”

Schiller says this is all possible because of a new chip called the W1. The AirPods can be set up so one pod answers calls or summons Siri and the sound is intelligently routed to the right ear. In addition to the AirPods, Beats will also use the W1 chip in the new Beats Solo Wireless, Powerbeats 3 Wireless, and a new line called Beats X. The AirPods will be available in late October, starting at $160. Yes, these are NOT coming in the box.

Finally, Schiller closed up things with the new A10 Fusion chip. It’s a 64-bit quad-core processor. Two cores are high-performance, so they can run 40 percent faster than the iPhone 6s and twice as fast as the iPhone 6. If you want to keep playing this game, it’s 120 times faster than the original 2007 iPhone. The other cores are “high-efficiency” to handle lighter applications for better battery life. The new graphics chip is also 50 percent faster than the iPhone 6s. Schiller says you can get LTE browsing on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus at 12 and 13 hours respectively, which is around 2 hours better than the iPhone 6s. Not bad.

Of course, these are all just numbers. Hopefully these impressive specs and curated demoes translate to impressive real-world use.

As for prices, Apple is going budget—just kidding! It’ll arrive at the same price as the iPhone 6S, starting at $650 and $770. Apple has also doubled all the storage, starting with 32GB and going all the way to 256GB. Even old iPhone 6s models will get the storage upgrades. Orders start this Friday on September 9th and will be available on September 16th, and iOS 10 will be pushed out to all devices on September 13.

Apple - Everything announced at iPhone 7 launch event

Apple - Everything announced at today's iPhone 7 launch event

Kicking off with a cameo from talk show host James Corden and Pharrell driving Tim Cook to the event, Apple took a straightforward approach to promoting its new show: Carpool Karaoke. Cook segued nicely from Corden’s car to the main stage and detailed Apple Music’s new look and its 17 million users.

iOS 10

The latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system has been in beta for the past couple of months; it’s bringing a ton of new features for enriching iMessage, improving Maps and making Siri more useful with extension support. iOS 10 will arrive on September; here’s a roundup of everything new to look forward to.
Apple Music

The streaming service got a major redesign in iOS 10, and a sorely-needed one at that. Aside from bold new aesthetics, the personalized playlist generator called Discovery Mix could make for an easier transition from Spotify, if you’re in love with the latter’s Discover Weekly playlist (I am).

You’ll also see lyric integration and a simplified interface that looks, well, a lot like Apple News.

Mario is coming to iOS!

Mobile gaming never seemed complete without Mario on the iPhone or a non-emulated Android device. Today, Nintendo creator Shigeru Miyamoto announced Super Mario Run – an endless runner that fully supports one-handed play. Miyamoto mused that the one-handed play was so that you could “hold on in the subway, eat a cheeseburger, or an apple.”

Super Mario Run will be available at a “fixed price” and it’ll release this holiday season. Miyamoto said the decision to offer a fixed price was so that you could enjoy the game without worrying about in-app purchases.

You’ll get some cool new teaser stickers for the game featuring Mario’s mug when iOS 10 drops on September 13.

Education and iWork

Cook took the stage to talk about some of Apple’s education initiatives, such as the ConnectED grant. ConnectED aims to deliver 50,000 iPads to students and 4,500 Macs to teachers.

Next Cook invited Susan Prescott, VP of worldwide apps, to the stage to detail what’s coming in the oft-forgotten iWork.

All the iWork apps — Pages, Notes, and Keynote — now offer real-time collaboration between colleagues. Prescott demo’ed the new feature on stage by editing a Keynote presentation with five contributors. The live contribution was underwhelming, and it essentially welcomed Apple to 2006 — or Google Drive.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch just got faster, thinner and altogether more exciting. The ‘Apple Watch Series 2‘ — or Apple Watch S2 — has a better processor, brighter display (1,000 nits — same as a Galaxy Note 7), and it’s now waterproof-ish.

Possibly past the heyday of the app, bit still exciting, Pokémon Go is coming to the Apple Watch. Niantic CEO John Hanke took to the stage to announce the Pokémon Go Plus — a tool that offers heads-up gameplay — and the port of the game to WatchOS. We’ll see that later this year.

After criticism mounted that the first watch wasn’t waterproof — like Sony and Samsung offerings — Apple met the call and ‘swim-proofed’ the second iteration of its smart watch — the ‘Apple Watch Series 2.’ The original watch offered IPX7 water resistance — meaning it was okay to shower with, but you should probably leave it out of the pool. The new one actually ejects water out of the speaker grill and is submergible to 50 meters. It even offers pool-based workouts with lap count, distance and calorie burn.

Another common gripe was the lack of a GPS chip. Apple previously required the watch be tethered to an iPhone to use its GPS. Now, it’s loosened its reliance on the iPhone and baked in GPS capability. The move is a good one, as fitness is undoubtedly a pillar of the Apple Watch and the smartphone requirement makes it a much less attractive option than other wearables from Samsung or even Fitbit.

Apple again partnered with Nike to announce ‘Apple Watch Nike+,’ a special edition built just for runners. The Apple Watch Nike+ is available in four cool colors and is designed to get you out the door with a simple prompt — ‘Are we running today?’ The device starts with an invitation ‘Are We Running Today?’ designed to get you off the couch. It also has social features that let you know when your friends are exercising and how much they’re kicking your Cheeto-eating ass while you bing-watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

That’s not the only special edition watch, either. Apple also announced a new ceramic finish. The white pearlescent finish is completely ceramic and pairs nicely with a number of existing bands.

The watch body also lost some weight, all while gaining some additional juice in the form of battery power. While unavoidably chunky due to all the hardware crammed into a rather small watch, the new iteration will be slightly thinner with a battery that’s 36 percent larger than the original. This is a good thing, as the GPS will undoubtedly put the squeeze on battery life.

The Series 2 will be available to pre-order September 9 with a release date a week later (September 16). Both the S2 and the Nike+ series will run $369, with the latter coming in late October.

WatchOS 3 releases to the public on September 13.

We’ll also get a re-imagined first-gen Apple Watch — now called the ‘Series 1’ — with an upgraded dual-core processor (same as the S2) for $269. That one will also drop on September 16, with pre-orders open on September 9.

iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

The headliner of this Apple event is undoubtedly the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Gone are the 16 GB version (👍) and the headphone jack (👎) but a handful of new features and five color options should help ease the pain.

The biggest news is probably the ‘water resistant’ coating. Apple added IP67 water resistance to the iPhone — a feature similar to the original Apple Watch. It’s not completely waterproof, but it could prove a life saver after a quick soaking. To assist in the waterproofing (in part, at least), Apple removed the physical home button to a completely flush “button” that offers haptic feedback, mimicking the clicking sensation much like the touchpad of newer MacBook and MacBook Pro models — the feature addition that took the spot of the missing headphone jack.

Color options now include two different shades of black (‘jet’ and ‘black’ — creative, right?) as well as the current rose gold, gold and silver. Space gray is no longer of this world.

Both phones, as well as the Apple Watch Series 2, will support Japan’s NFC-like Felica standard, so Apple Pay will work in the country when it’s rolled out in October.

As for storage, the entry-level storage option is now 32GB with options to upgrade to 128GB or the new 256GB option if you’re willing to fork over the money. The base model starts at the same price as the 6s/6s Plus — $649 for the 7 and $769 for the 7 Plus.

The camera system utilizes ‘Lytro-like’ features that allow you to refocus a shot after the photo has been taken, thanks to two separate 12-megapixel lenses. The two cameras offer smartphone photographers the option to create their own bokeh-filled images, something that was only available on higher-end cameras — or mimicked rather badly on a handful of smartphones.

The Plus also gets a four-LED array that provides better color accuracy when using flash. The 7 lacks these features, but offers the still-amazing 12-megapixel camera from the 6s, with a few iterative upgrades.

The front-facing camera gets a bump from 5MP to 7MP, better color capture and auto-image stabilization.

AV is nothing if you improve the V (video) without the A (audio). The new iPhone will feature dual speakers that create stereo sound — at least in landscape mode (although they work fine in portrait). The speakers are located at the top and bottom and aside from creating stereo sound, they’re also significantly louder.

Both get a spec bump to the ‘A10 Fusion’ processor clocked at 2.4 and 2.45GHZ (7 and 7 Plus, respectively) as well as an additional GB of RAM in the Plus model (bringing it to 3GB). The processor also jumps to four cores, and adds a six-core graphics chip. The A10 is 120x faster than the original iPhone, while the graphics chip is 240x more powerful.

The 7 and 7 Plus are said to both offer the best battery life of any iPhone. You’ll get a reported two additional hours of use in the iPhone 7 Plus and an additional hour in the 7.

Pre-orders start Friday, September 9. They’ll ship September 16. The stellar new iOS 10 will release September 13.

Headphones

Apple’s new EarPods are chock full of options, as long as ‘chock full’ in this case means wired or wireless. The new EarPod is completely redesigned to actually fit in the ear, rather than nestled neatly between your earlobe and the ear canal. The redesign is a necessary one, as Apple’s new headphones offer completely wireless playback through Bluetooth.

The EarPods can also be plugged in, although not in the headphone jack — that’s gone. Now, you’ll have to plugin via the Lightning port, which doubles as the port used to sync the phone to a desktop or charge it. Gone are the days of multi-tasking, as Apple shifts to a one port to rule them all approach that it previously made with its Macbook and USB-C connection.

We’ll also see a trio of new Beats offerings later this year.

Dubai - Set to build a high-tech rainforest inside a hotel

Dubai - Set to build a high-tech rainforest inside a hotel

That moment when we all thought the world's largest indoor theme park was hard to top, Dubai has proves us wrong yet again. Its latest jaw-dropping megaproject is a tropical rainforest in a skyscraper hotel -- another world-first for the emirate.

According to CNN: The 7,000-square-meter rainforest will be part of the upcoming Rosemont Hotel and Residences Dubai, one of the properties under Hilton's luxury independent brand Curio -- A Collection by Hilton. The complex, expecting to welcome its first guests in 2018, consists of two 53-story-high towers including a 448-key hotel and a 280-room serviced apartment tower.

Dubai - Set to build a high-tech rainforest inside a hotel
Dubai's latest megaproject: a rainforest in the desert.

"Our client's concept was to create a very unique destination for the city of Dubai, and also to create a project that would be a destination itself, with every possible leisure and entertainment amenity inside the hotel," says DJ Armin, principal architect and managing partner of ZAS Architects Dubai.

The firm teamed up with Dubai architects Kieferle & Partner on the design.
Armin says they're hoping to create a family-friendly leisure space that can be used year-round.
"As the site wasn't a beachfront location, we looked at how we could create a new type of outdoor leisure space in the city, and also fully integrate nature into the guest experience," Armin tells CNN.

A rainforest was the answer. "Inside the rainforest, we've created a landscape akin to a full-scale tropical environment -- complete with adventure trails, a sandless beach, a splash pool, waterfalls, streams and a rainforest cafe," says Armin.

There will also be a "prehistoric Jurassic-inspired marsh."

The high-tech hotel will sit in the city's business center, neighboring Dubai Internet City and Al Kazim Towers.
"Technological features include an advanced sensory rain system that creates a 360-degree experience, simulating the sensation of being surrounded by rainfall without actually getting wet."
Sensors control where the rain will fall depending on where people are detected.

Water will be collected, stored from condensation and recycled to create a humid environment similar to a tropical rainforest.
The outdoor rainforest will be located on the top level of the entertainment podium that connects the hotel and residential towers. The project is still at an early stage, but it appears the rainforest will be open to the public as well as hotel guests.

Glass-bottom sky pool:

An infinity pool will be cantilevered in the middle of both of the 53-story towers. "The hotel will also offer guests a number of stylish food and beverage outlets, including three restaurants, a lobby cafe and two bars," Curio's global head, Mark Nogal, tells CNN.

"Guests will have access to a fully equipped gym, an outdoor pool and a spa where they can indulge in luxurious treatments."
The outdoor pool will be a cantilevered, glass-bottomed infinity sky pool with a bar.

Inside Dubai's $330 million opera house 02:02
Robotic luggage handling, digital waterfalls, kinetic light sculptures are some other highlights of the hotel's interiors.
Each room will be accessed and managed through a smart phone. All rooms will be designed to provide a view of the Gulf.

It took PDP 16 years to keep the price of rice at N8,000 per bag,but took APC 1 year to sky rocket it to N23,000 per bag.

It took Jonathan 5yrs to travel to 15 countries, but it took Pa Buhari 1 year to travel to 30 countries.

It took PDP 16years to apply resounding economic policies that made banks grow,

but it took APC 1 year to apply policies which made banks to sack more staff.

It took PDP 16years to make the economy the 3rd fastest growing in the world and the largest in Africa, it took APC 1year to make it one of the worse economy in the world, same with Zimbabwe.

The worst administration of PDP is far better than the best of APC.

Now be the judge, who has really destroyed Nigeria?

Amber Rose - hated her first threesome, and let’s be honest, most are awkward

Amber Rose - hated her first threesome, and let’s be honest, most are awkward

Despite the fact that her outspoken se'x-positive image might cause viewers to assume she's already explored the world of threesomes, the encounter with the man and woman marked her first, and according to her reviews, her last.

On the latest episode of Loveline, the beloved Amber Rose detailed her first three'some to her co-host Dr. Chris Donaghue, and it sounds like the experience was far more of a menage-a-NAWW (I’m so sorry) than Rose expected. Despite the fact that her outspoken se'x-positive image might cause viewers to assume she’s already explored the world of threesomes, the encounter with the man and woman marked her first, and according to her reviews, her last.

Rose was candid on her podcast, expressing how uncomfortable the threesome scenario was and revealing that she mostly pursued a threesome in order to mark it off her list of experiences. She said, “We kinda just got together. It was a guy and a girl and it was fucking horrible. It was the worst. I am literally having sleepless nights. I felt the pressure, getting older, to experience new things and I did it against my better judgment because I talk about se'x a lot.”

On one hand, it’s deeply unfortunate for her sake that the threesome wasn’t full of a se'xual and spiritual transcendence that inspired her to immediately pen a manifesto of ménage à trois erotica. On the other hand, there’s undeniable comfort in the fact that even Rose feels clumsy and confused when presented with two partners at once. After all, if the author of How To Be A Bad Bitch doesn’t know what to do with her arms during a threesome, maybe the rest of us flailing through our se'xuality aren’t doing so bad.

While obviously every threesome experience is different (for instance, mine always involve a diamond-encrusted canopy bed with a view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and a steady soundtrack of Sade while Mario whispers sweet nothings into my ear), one of Rose’s biggest complaints with the scenario was the lack of actual intimacy.

“I feel like I am a very passionate lover and I like that one-on-one passion,” she shared on Loveline with Amber Rose. “With the threesome, I kind of felt like there was no passion. There was no kissing and rolling around, all of those moments that I enjoy. All those moments were not there.”

Aww, Muva just desires the same power struggle for blankets and snuggle space that so many of us crave. Hopefully her transparency about her underwhelming threesome experience provided an educational moment for people who conflate being s'x-positive with liking all se'x activities. You can be all about getting laid all the time, anywhere, and still not feel compelled to share the blanket with two people.
